GMI Effect of Ultra-Soft Magnetic Soft Amorphous Microwires
In this paper we experimentally studied GMI effect and soft magnetic behavior of Co-rich microwires. Correlation between magnetoelastic anisotropy and magnetic field dependences of diagonal and off-diagonal impedance components are observed. Low field GMI hysteresis, explained in terms of magnetoelastic anisotropy of microwires, has been suppressed by the bias current.

Annealing of amorphous precursor alloys, with compositions (Fe,Co!88M7B4Cu1 ~M5Zr, Nb, Hf!, above their primary crystallization temperature results in the nanocrystallization of the ferromagnetic a8-FeCo phase. This work describes results of the characterization of these alloys, including morphological and chemical stability of the a8-FeCo phase, examination of alloy compositions, and developme...
متن کاملFabrication of Soft Magnetic Fe-based Nanoalloy
The Fe-Ni-Sb-B amorphous alloy has been prepared by a solid-solid chemical reaction of ferric trichloride, nickel chloride, antimony chloride and potassium borohydride powders at room temperature. The inductive couple plasma study indicates that the resultant is composed of Fe 5.38 %, Ni 56.19 %, Sb 29.02 % and B 0.44 %. The XRD and thermal analysis show that the alloy is a non-strict sense amo...
متن کاملAmorphous soft-magnetic ribbons studied by ultra-small-angle polarized neutron scattering
When we investigated the magnetic structure of a variety of soft-magnetic amorphous ribbons by means of ultra-small-angle neutron scattering (USANSPOL) we were confronted with one particularly interesting Fe65.7Co18Si0.8B15.5 ribbon, provided by VAC Hanau. Due to a special thermal treatment during production a fieldand stress-induced transverse domain texture was expected. Although the USANSPOL...
متن کاملDevelopment of Ultra-Thin Glass-Coated Amorphous Microwires for High Frequency Magnetic Sensors Applications
The giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect has been studied in 3 different families of amorphous wires: conventional amorphous wires (125 μm in diameter), cold drawn wires (50 and 20 μm in diameter) and thin glass coated amorphous microwires (with metallic nucleus diameter of about 15 μm). These wires have been investigated in the frequency range 1 – 500 MHz. A remarkable difference in the magnet...
